KAWO renovation of a DN 1600 pipe in the body of D1 highway

Reconstruction of a 85 m long culvert in the body of the D1 highway was realized in October 2016. The diameter of the culvert was variable, ranging from the DN 1650 to DN 1450. A renovation of a heavily damaged pipe leading to the water treatment plant in city Zlín was realized in October 2016. Due to the high flow in the pipe (flow was ranging between 1000 m3/h and 2500 m3/h) the demands for pumping were very high. Use of 5 Sterling Q200 pumps ensured successful draining of the renewed sector and KAWO liner DN 1350/900 could have been installed. Liner was then cured using hot water.
